To us our scenic area is

Newestablish should be done on behalf of us living here, animals and nature.

Chemicals used on fields should be reduced, and we want to cultivate the land organically in the future.

Animal farming should be established on maintainance of danish species and protection of local people, animals and nature.

We define developement to be working towards the above mentioned.
Scenic area
We are living in a senic area and we want to develope it in the perspective of sustainability due to our local initiatives. You find a lot more about the scenic area on skovløkken.dk.
EU legislation on human health, protected wildlife and nature and Recovery
In general Natura 2000 is legislation for our region, Odense Fjord and surrounding rural areas.
Most birds and amphibians areprotected species in DK.

Substainability and developement

The EU's agricultural policy says that sustainability is environmentally sustainable production, and is defined to be organic farming.

We have many protected areas, plants and animal species, exactly because we have Odense Fjord and surroundings that are protected by NATURA 2000 EU legislation for sustainable conservation of nature.
Swans choose natural areas in DK, where they breed and stay over during winther. Thats why we have them living here.
Swans are seen along and on the fjord in the summer, and are on land during winter, right outside our doors.
So they breed on land in summer and have large "ugly ducklings" on the fields during wintertime. The same applies to many other species. View photos of swans in gallery beneath.
